It's kinda tough, yea.
I love the glow the gauges put off, too, especially with the added gauges on the pod!!

You have to take out your glove box...and Speedo bezel. Then you have to reach in behind the vent and push up and out on the two metal clips..they are on the bottom just like the passenger vent.

Oh, and heres the "backseat" of my car.
I have a sony 1100 watt, and a 900 watt kenwood amp (hoping to replace the sony with another kenwood)
Two 400 watt 8" kicker compVR subwoofers
Further back in the trunk are two 12" Kenwood KFC-W3010 subs
And a 5 farad power acustik cap
- sorry for the quality, its a screen shot from a video i made.

I am not normally fond of some mods that have been done to interiors on this site but I like it overall, good job.

i love the gauges man, i should be getting my pod in tomorrow. not dising your stereo setup or anything (it's nicer than mine) but it would have been better if you made your box fit so your subs face away from you, it sounds way better.

You can also go in under the vents, taking out the center trim and radio, then use a flat head screw driver (unless you have little hands) to push the clips up and the vent will pop out... I wouldn't recomend doing what I did and just kinda prying the vent out so far that you can unclip the vent trim and then you can see the 2 clips right through the hole hehe. That's just asking to break something.
