flasher unit

Hi all

can anyone help me on this.

I know (?) that the hazard button is a problem, but I would like to know if the hazard flasher unit and the turn signal flasher are seperate units and where it or they are located and where access to it or they is located.

I'm 98% sure they are the same unit. I had trouble with my turn signals not working, and I'd have to play with the hazard button to get them to come on.

Replacing the hazard switch solved the problem.

You access the hazard switch by removing the gage cluster. There's also a small trim piece around the switch that you can carefully pry out with a small screwdriver.

I'm not exactly sure how I got mine out. I used two small screwdrivers and I think I just got lucky. Didn't take me long. If you look at the new switch, you'll see it needs to be squeezed or something. I used two small screwdrivers between the switch and the black plastic and sort of spread them apart. Then I was able to wiggle the switch out.
