I have the Falken Ziex series, they're the all-around season ones, but still they are very high performance. I have the 215/45/17 size and i love them. No sidewall flex, they handle very well in water. I even left them on through the winter here, not the best idea, but they held up good. I highly recommend them.

I have Falken Visas on my 17's. They'll go back in a week, and I can't wait. I've only had them for one summer, so I don't know how they wear, but I love them so far.

Yeah what Lindsey said, I got those tires for her, because my brother ran a set for almost 40,000 miles on his civic, with only about half the tread worn when he sold the car. So I figured, if he was gonna get about 60,000 mile out of them, they would hold up till at least 40,000 on an alero. I believe Lindsey's are 235/45/17's but I will double check later when I am out in the garage.

My buddys rents own a kal tire here in bc.. they sell lots of them (falkins that is) but... they wear out quick, even more so if you are an aggresive driver... they will not last, they are too soft of a compound, plus they are allweather.
On the plus they have a good warrenty program.. for when you wear them out in 5000k like my buddys does, plus they smoke good hahaha  ... not that we did any of that...lol
Over the stock goodyears they will be a noticable differnance if you go with like the zeix502's. will corner quite a bit better but having had the opertunity to drive and ride in cars with all makes of tires, there are some better choices out there, Avon, goodyear, michalens (i like the pilots) etc...
But for the price of the falkins you would be hard pressed to get a better deal.. as i beleave that they are discontuinueing the current lines of tire and redesigning all of em.. so there are some cheep prices out there
