Once again, I have a window regulator failure...
- In town, the best aftermarket price is $100
- Ebay has regulators for $65 or so, depending on the model
- Carpart.com doesn't have an exact listing.
Does anybody have any connections to someone who can get these for cheaper?
Is it better to get a used functional OEM regulator than an aftermarket regulator?

Does anyone know exactly how to replace the window regulator or have an illustration on how to do it? I have to replace the regulator in my passenger side door. Thanks.

Hammer and a chisel.
Worked nicely when my dad and I replaced my clip.

yeh i just did that the other day. but only the plastic pieces broke. hammer and screwdriver did the trick to get the clip off then just scraped the rest of the epoxy off with a knife.

I just replaced my drivers side regulator, heres a question, how does GM or any dealership justify 34 $ for a 12 cent peice of plastic. I know dealerships are a rip off, and this is about the only thing I every bought from them but come on.

Everyone on this forum knows how you feel. When my passanger side fell it cost me like $82. I about shit myself! About a year later my driver side took a shit. It was only $64 that time. I have a 01 4door and every window in my car has took a shit. $100 a peice for the rear which still aren't fixed. They have 1x1 peices of wood holding them up. As soon as I have the money and someone with a CNC machine im getting those plastic things made out of steel!

Damn, Im heartbroken...My drivers side window has been out of commission for the last year. I just got used to not being able to roll down my window. Im pretty sure my rear regulators are about to go too. Anyway, any sites you guys recommend checking out to find a decent, RELIABLE, regulator?
