my pioneers were in a seald box....would i be happy with this set up? or does any one have any suggestions
one of my friends used to have that setup, the box glowed blue or something, they were OK for 200$...they hit hard but are not as clear as mine, but then again i spent around 3k for my system so thats normal

If you want a pre-setup bandpass box for cheap look into this one..

I've got them powered by a 600 watt (250 rms) Visonik amp and they're decent subs for the price. I've had mine in since July and I haven't had any problems (except for the amp acting up just today, I probably wouldn't recommend the amp that's in the $250 package, haha)
They hit hard-ish, but if you're buying new subs you maybe should upgrade.
But if you insist this is a good box of subs for the price from what I've found

The little 10" Sub, box, n amp combo?
I saw that and considered it to replace those 2 12"s I took out of my room to put in my trunk yesterday.

Nope, I've wanted to put some in but I've hesitated for fears of no being able to seal the small hole from the wires good enough afterward.

i have the 10" version of the visonik's and have had them for about three years. they work great and don't sound to bad either.

Heres an idea, seriously:

For $150 these will stomp out any of them crappy subs posted so far.
Make a box 3 cubic feet sealed, feed them about 400-500 WRMS each and they will sing...
If you want to go even cheaper, Wal Mart has a 12: Durabrand sub on clearance for around 20-25$... I bought one today to test out, why not for $20?
