but i have no idea where to look or even how to tell whether a certain model will work on my alero or not. what do you need to llok for to know whether the rim will fit or not and where might i find some good places to look?

well that link will work if you live within 50 miles of the store.. but use discounttiredirect.com if you live farther than 50 miles.. same store same stuff.. they rule

What ever you get, +38mm to +42mm offset and 5x114.3 (5x115) bolt pattern ;)

i'd love to help ya out more with your decision but i got screwed over by someone on here for a set of 'limited edition' rims, but from my experience looking for rims, i'd prefer going with tirerack
