Unles you're prepared to weld the pieces in yourself, you're best off taking it to a full racecar shop. Don't know where you are, but in Jersey there a quite a few great shops that build racecars and any one of them can custom-build you a cage for the car and install it.

yep, most will charge 200-300 as long as you remove carpet and seats, etc....or pic up a vega/monza 4 point out of Jegs or Summit for 130.00 and make it work

Is your car THAT fast that you need a cage. Does it run 11.49 or quicker in the 1/4 mile?
Guys that get a cage in a daily driver hate doing it and it does kill the car

I'll vouch that it most likely will, shortly. One of the few that made it out the door with a DPP setup.
Now, on the cage. I recommend that you either have one custom made, or else, compare interior dimensions on a Cavalier/Sunfire and see if they're similar. If they are, then order the premade for a couple hundred from Jegs. Pre-cut, pre-bent, just needs welding.

I was tossing around the idea of a roll cage as well. It was exactly what Redog said about issues with a daily driver, that killed the idea initially. However, looking into the link that BJ posted, wow, that is definately an impressive setup.
My 2 cents - get one made up specifically for your car. Seeing as it's gutted already, and it would have opened up some of the space inside your car, get it made up by a race-shop.

Well the thing is here On the eiland they don't do a nice job with the cage. I wanted something to look nice to lol.
Yeah mmm Well I'm hoping that I will reach the 11 sec by july just need to change some things here and there and mm Up the boost and lets see what will happen. Most likely I will entre the 11 sec. but will see. And here if you ran a 11.95 sec you will need a roll cage in you're car.
For my setup I can easly make more then 400Whp with it. My est is 10-12 psi of boost I will be over 400whp , because I got a est with the aeroforce inter gauge it made 350whp @ 6-7psi of boost. But lets see when i get it dyno'd... And btw that was untunned because I'm still learning how to work with the Hp program.
For pic's like BJ sad

here's a nice full custom cage that my trans-fab guy is building in a 69 or 70 Chevelle.....I like how everything is molded in to be legal, but also integrated into the total interior. Looks hawt. ( i know, sanding dust all over everything.) but the cage comes to the rear center and makes a center console up the full length, and integrates into a full metal dash.

Very nice man , mm tell you're friend good job. But I think that car is more for racing ? or maybe I'm wrong. Hmm well I'm gonna look @ here if I can get someone to make something nice, but I want it that you can take it back off the car
lets see if it's possible
I don't know of what type of material they use there put here on the eiland they use blacksteel for the cage.
