has anyone bought the pcm from pfyc? im looking to buy one for my car but i wanna get some input on if they really do make a difference or not. all i've done to my car is change the intake and the exhaust. is it worth spending the $100?

the tuner lets you make your own changes.

from what ive heard, they are worth getting but imo if your gonna do it, save the cash and get the tuner, its $300 more but much more worth it in the end

are you guys going to mention that the tuner isnt something you should play around with if you dont know what your doing??? i mean thats what people have said on here, so if you dont know too much about cars, then i would suggest going with the $100 one.

why not learn? i knew a fair deal about how a motor works before i got the tuner but my car still isnt perfectly tuned after how many months now? (partly because i am lazy LOL) that being said, i do not recommend the tuner unless you will be having a heavily modified engine that reqires oogles of tuning to run properly. with simple bolt ons (intake, exhaust, headers, etc) the off the shelf pcm is fine and im sure if you can email DHP to get extra stuff done on top of that like DTC delete for what have you.

Let me see if I have this straight. I could have just used PowerTuner on my stock PCM, or does it only modify aftermarket ones?
