I've never heard of the brand, but reading the spec sheet and seeing the 86dB efficiency that's pretty low. They probably won't sound that good and unless they're super cheap I'm sure you can get something better for the money

RE Audio is the shiznit.

The SE series is more apt to SQ setups than SPL. If you want SPL look into the SX line- in the same $ neighborhood. If you got $$$ to spend, MT and the XXX is where its at.

The prices are insane now that RE was bought out by US Amps. The prices have doubled! No joke.

A better alternative thats cheaper: www.fiaudio.com

Thats the guy that designed all them subs for RE. He parted ways, RE sold out- now he has his very OWN company. THe prices he has is pretty decent.

www.tcsounds.com puts out a wide offering and excellent products as well.

www.ascendantaudio.com is yet another...

dont forget www.elevationaudio.com Joe Belmonte has a decent lineup thats keeps evolving!

RE makes some great subs! You wont be sorry if you were to buy them. They are a little pricey, unless you get a good deal.

RE subs are worth it and if u really have money and just want way too much bass for your car get the xxx sub by them but i do believe that the se is the lowest of the RE family but still good and i do mention they have component subs that i'm looking to get

RE series is the lowest.

I just gave my friend the 12" I bought from Violent Rapture here...

Re are very nice subs, the easily take more than recommended wattage. Scott at FI audio is a great guy and has great prices on all his stuff. Like Ryan said he designed Re's subs and now makes his own. The FI SSD seems to be around your price if your looking at the SE.
