SweetnLow once said to place foam under the front bumper to lessen the gap beteen the bumper and headlights. Sounded like sound advise to me.

Everyone says that.... "I can't lower my car because around here the roads suck". The roads suck everywhere. You can still lower your car, just be careful and be conscience where you're driving. Try to avoid steep driveways, but if you can't, just go very slow up and down them. You may scrap the bumper a little but it won't destroy anything. My car is lowered and the only thing that scrapes is the exhaust piping, and that's only because it's big piping, and even then, it's only on the steepest of driveways.
On a side note....glad to see another WNY Aleromodder :thumb: Now that the weather is getting nicer we'll have to arrange a meet with all of us.

Looks good man, looks really good. Any pictures of the back end, by any chance?
That question always reminds me of the bumpersticker 'If you like my bumper, wait 'till you see my headlights.'

Where did you buy your kit?
oh and sweetnlow, I totally disagree... unless properly done I despise the razzi and especially hate the forbidden kits.
Razzi is too blocky, and the forbidden is too flat.
The aas kits flow better imho plus they have a big ass grill space up front.

its all personal taste. i think razzi "looks" the nicest. never cared for forbidden that buch becuase of how "bulkey" it looks in person.
that aas kit....... well its nice if you like imports and you like that "rice" look. cause honestly thats what it is.... a rice kit. also the huge grill opening in the front is nasty along with the way the rear bumper curves up and hte huge hole in the rear of it also.
i dont really like the AAS kit either, but its what i got stuck with bought it used for cheap, i would of much rather had a razzi bagged tho

honestly thats how i ended up with my razzi kit. i HATED the razzi kit befor i bought it...... but i got it extremely cheap so i went ahead and put it on. it took awhile to grow on me but now i think its the absolute best looking kit out there.

we have said it befor and we will say it again.......... ANY aftermarket body kit you buy is going to require triming and fitting to get it to look right on your car. no matter how much you pay its gonna need some amount of tweaking

i dont like the aas kit but whatever.. needs rims and lowered. if youre that concerened about the roads you can always bag it ;) you should paint your mirrors red or get gagt's? looks pretty good though.

i am getting rims but not untill probly next summer or late this summer. i just bought a house so im done modding for the year other then probly some window tint. but there is probly no way im going to lower it unless i put ATLEAST 18's on it. if i do. i wont be able to park in my driveway or get into my parking lot at work. i no it wont look as good as it should. but considering its my daily driver i dont want to destroy it pulling in somewere.

That's basically it... that key phrase I like "is the juice worth the squeeze"
I mean, we all have our opinions, but you're one of a handful on this site that's got the body kit on fully. So, what does it come down to? Past everyone elses opinions... set your car up how you both want it, and need it to be. There's no point in lowering it and throwing rims on if you're going to tear it up as a daily driver, and out do yourself financially with the new house.
The kit looks great. Good luck with the new home, and well... take your time and do it right. Just another one of my 2-cent comments.
your going to destroy that kit in NY reguardless, trust me

would love to get a kit, but on a daily driven car like mine, and the winters here, eh_nigma can vouch for this, it wouldnt last 2 months :(

2 Months?! That's pushin it... I'd say the first snow fall while our plows are still in the garage and crews are scrambling to figure out what to do...

It looks great!! I wouldn't get my car lowered either as a daily driver. The kit doesn't look any lower than the stock bumper. But I'm going to get the rims this summer than maybe next year do the body kit!

nice b/c i like this kit over the razzi but i thought it would be to low for me to drive with it on all year around. but it doesn't seem bad at all!

Looks nice but it without a doubt needs some rims, as for lowering it, you dont have to but it will look better if U did. But then again prepare yourself to fix that kit every other month. Best bet is get the rims and be happy or better get bags to avoid the dilemas of having a lowerd car with a kit.

I live down south, but IMO the forbidden kit is more for bags, razzi kit is more domestic and yes the aas has a rice feel to it, but it just depends on the person.
