I was initially an inactive member a few years ago and I'm looking forward to being a more active participant in the future.

I may be one of the more senior members; 57 tomorrow(April 3). I have a '00 GLS coupe purchased new in 05/2000 and it now has 103,500 mostly enjoyable miles! I added Speedhut white gauges and a wood dash trim kit to it early in it's life. It has experienced some of the common aliments posted on this site, ie. leaky intake gaskets, warped rotors(replaced w/Bembro's), blown blower motor resistor, etc. But this has been my favorite car out of the 13 that I have owned so far!

In fact, I will be the owner of a second one, a 2004 GLS coupe, at the end of this month. So I'm looking forward to many more years as a Alero owner and thanks to all of the members who take part in Aleromod.com!

As the "old fart" torch was recently passed to me, I now kindly pass it on to AleroGls. Welcome back to the site oldest of all the farts and I look forward to extracting from your alero knowledge the wisdom and experience of one such as yourself.

And to all of my fan base who got a kick out of taunting me for my age, I can only say I didn't stay down long.

Did Cincinnati beat Chicago today? Of course they did!

lol.... it'll be my new catch phrase

but seriously.... it's worth 40% of my mark for a graduating class... I have from now till Monday the 9th to get it done, finished, tested, and working... and the best kind of testing is when you get a diverse group...
