So....... I got into an accident awhile ago, and i just recently repaired it. The repairs included a new headlight, which is where my problem is, i now have to working headlights, but one is foggy, or dirty or something. So how do i fix this, im assuming i need to take it apart and clean the lens????

So in the end 1 Foggy+1 Clear(new)=50% sight at night

You could sand them down with like 2000 grand sand paper, lol. Fogging up is the result of dirt and shit getting on the headlight and then that fucking sun cooking it on.

Look what this guy did.

hes got water inside the headlight, i would unplug all the lights and put a hairdryer in the back holes of it until the moisture is out

Exactly what i was going to say.

Happened to me on one of my headlights, so i took it off, put a hairdryer to the back of it, made sure all moisture was out, then i put clear silicone over the crack that you separate the headlights......lol cant think of a way to describe it:lol:

DONT NEED ANY PICS FOR THIS ISSUE, lmao, pics?? hahahaha

You have to appreciate people trying to verify the problem before suggesting a fix tho.

BTW, Thanks zoL.

Good post.

after you do the hairdryer thing, I would reseal it.... if you don't, it's just going to get moisture in it again...

u dont have to take the headlight apart wtf are u guys talking about, just unplug the bulbs from the back and put the hairdryer in theose holes to get the moisture out, then put the bulbs back into the "plastic locks" and no moisture?

but moisture had to get in there some how... if the headlight isn't sealed right, it's just going to get moisture in it again... Trust me, my headlight did the same thing until I resealed it.

Actually, when I was reading about the clear corner post in the how to, I saw a lot of comments on making sure the headlights were sealed right after the process. But our headlight arent sealed, there are 3 little rubber tubes on the back to get the water out i presume. Why would it build moisture in if theres 3 holes on the back of it? I was wondering it when I cleared mines.

Try the hair dryer tick first, if it doesn't work or the moisture re-appears then go to step two
