First off here is the poblem.

Blew a fuse for the dash lighting, replaced the fuse and they worked fine, hit a bump and shorted out again (stereo wiring), fixed the wiring and replaced the fuse and nothing. Power on both sides of the fuse, headlight switch checked good, dimmer switch checked good, wiring diagram shows the LAMP DIMMER MODULE to be the next logical thing to check.

Question......WHERE THE F*** IS IT. I tore the damn dash apart, traced the wire the best i could and cant locate it.

Is it part of the body control module?
Has anyone ever had this problem?

Thanks for any help peeps.

ok look at your dash.
look to the left.
See the ac vent with the dimmer knob?
there you go its on that panel. Pull it off and its part of the dimmer switch

If the module is part of the dimmer i feel stupid. However the problem may be elswhere. Checking the voltage at the connector of the dimmer i have the ground, power in when headlight switched turned on and variable voltage out. The green whire which leaves the dimmer and is supposed to then go to the module is hot and is the variable side of the switch.
