Well I've been on here for a couple weeks now and posted a few times already, so I guess it's about time for an introduction.
My name is Nick, and I live in Carbondale, IL. I work at Autozone in Marion and will be back at Southern Illinois University in the fall, hopefully back in the Automotive Technology program. I got my silver 01 Alero GL Coupe (w/ sunroof) in February, with 126,000 miles on it and I've already put another 4,000 on. I haven't had a chance to mod anything on it yet, but plan on doing some work with it when I get the time and money. I'm still teetering on the edge of my bills since I bought it, but soon will be in the clear. I'm just gonna start with the low-buck basics (cleared corners, tinted windows and tails, wire in the trunk brakelights), then go on to performance with CAI and exhaust, etc. The Alero also has to compete with my other car, '72 Cutlass Supreme, for my money, and right now the Cutlass needs it more...gotta rebuild the tranny (and give it a manual valvebody:yahoo:) Well that's all I've got time for for now. Can't wait to get to know everybody, looks like a fun group!
