Ok so i know the resonator quiets down the exhuast but how....just the lows or highs or what.
I guess what im asking is how will my exhaust sound minus the resonator.

I have a high flow cat already.

Q. What does the stock res. actually do.
A. Restrict exhaust flow by a lot.
Take it off and look inside...you'll see what I mean. It should get louder, and you'll get some more flow out of the stock exhaust.

just clamp a section in there and if you dont like the sound you can always clamp the res back in. I had my res removed when i did exhaust. Sounds nice.

Does the resonator has a role in the anti-emission system or is it only the cat that is doing the job?
