Ok, well after thinking for a while ive decided to keep my rims. So i gotta get the one rim fixed, and get a new tire for it.

Now i think the time has finally come that i will get lowering springs... haha, yeaaaaaaaaa. so im going to get the eibach, cause they dont lower the car too much to the point where i bottom out every where, but they still make it look better than stock.

so my question is, when i get them, will i need to get anything else??? or can i just slap them on there and be fine. I know some people asked this before, Redog, didnt u buy some other part when u bought your eibachs??? and then people said that you dont need to. lol, i cant remember the name of it.

but i just want to make sure that if i throw the lowering springs on the car without making any other changes will it be ok??? i have about 53,000 miles on the car, idk if that matters, but whatever:lol:

I would appreciate any advice you guys can give me!!

i ran eibachs and 18" rims for over 2 years. i had about the same mileage as you when i got them and never had an issue.

you can just slap em on, lowering the car will make your struts go faster though, alot faster. Then you will need to switch to somthing like KYB GR2 and likley you will need new upper mounts by then. but you can wait a little while since your car dosnent have too many miles on it.

yea but those lower the car even more, around the albany area, there are A LOT of place you bottom out, and any lower than eibach i think i will hurt my car. lol.

as for the struts going faster, how will i know when my struts are bad??

i dont understand why people are so concerned over bottoming out over another inch of drop. A pothole wont do it. A hill wont do it. The only way to bottom out is on an extremely steep driveway, and then if you take the first part at an angle you will be fine. Crappy roads arent an excuse. Just be aware of what you are driving on. But in response to your question i would put new struts on as well. Yours are about due to be swapped, might as well do it while its apart. I have intrax springs and kyb gr2 struts, it handles amazing and looks great.

My driveway is on a hill, and I can get up and down it no problem with Springtech's. My town is paving a lot of roads and shit and I have to go over train tracks every day, still no problems. Just don't drive like a complete moron and Springtech's will work fine, and they look rad as all hell. I also have never bottomed out since putting them on. Stop being a baby, Springtech's FTMFW.

I have a kind of similar question. My front top plates are done. I wanted to get it lowered a bit and also checked for Eibacks + KYB.

Does the stock upper mount fits with KYB struts or do I have to get aftermarket ones?
