was just wondering how many people from around NY actually go to meets, cause i go a lot and im the only alero every time, would like to see somemore going :x

You're probably a good 8 hour drive from Buffalo. Otherwise you could come to a meet here :p.........which is exactly what us people from WNY should do is arrange a meet somewhere. After all, like the title says, the weather is getting very nice...

I'll be going up to lebanon valley dragway every so often this summer. One of my buddies has a cobalt club. Kinda sad that a stock alero v6 can run as good if not bettter than modified cobalts. I'll let you know when we go again.

I am...at the end of June...and I'm going to see this guy I know up there while I'm there who just so happens to be going to the same baseball game that I am. I can't wait to see the local bar scene man

i'd say we should have another meet up here, but i'm busy has hell lately. Apparently Kev still has his car though.... my bro just sold him a new wheel hub (at autozone) :lol:

I dunno about going to DC. The Bar scene is so pricey! When I was in DC I got 2 jager bombs, a corona, and a sex on a beach and the total was $34. Too expensive for me.

Not sure where in NY you're town's at. But there's quite a few of us in NJ or near-abouts. Me, NJRef911, Naich, etc.
I'm always at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. On Saturday, September 1 there's a big Buick-Olds-Pontiac Get Together at the track. Show-&-Go. I'll be there. Redog will, too, and might bring both of his Olds down. A few others have said they'd come down/up for the day, too.

No more like for people who enjoy getting screwed in the ass with prices! I like paying my $3 for a beer, $4.50 for a mixed drink, and $4 jager bombs. :p
im on long island, i go to e-town sometimes when my friends are running its like a 3 hour drive though, lol i go to all these car meets and im always the only alero, in one way i like it (very unique) but on the other hand i would like to see somemore ho's out there

heh, i wish there were meets around here.....ive never been to one!!!:( :lol:
theres meets here every friday night sat night (at DPA) and sunday mornings (at captree) DPA is mostly ricers, but people go there to race each other on the strip thats next to the mcdonalds parking lot (Deer park ave. is one of the longest straight-aways here) captree is nice old hot rods, old caddys and such but its hard to get up that early and make the 40 min trip for me

I'll stick to buying a 30 pack for $17.99 and drinking at home. That's what, $.60 a beer, which is 20% of what you pay by going out.

I like going out b/c everytime someone throws a party it's a bitch to clean up after that next morning. And I meet a lot of "interesting" people when I go out. Plus there's karokee there also!!! It's a blast!
