I know a couple WI guys are taken the northern route. I am not sure when I will be leaving.

What i know right now is most of us are leaving early thursday morning. Everyone who is going to be leaving Thursday morning let me know.

My thought was meet at a truckstop in Indiana or lower MI and roll from there.

I will be traveling up I-69 so might be able to meet up. Can't hold me to it because of distance I'm traveling to try to make a certain time window but will try.

it takes me 3 hrs to get to gary,In...so when is the best time to get through that area?

guarantee you, if you head anywhere near 90/94 before 10am your gonna be there a while

I think for us the easiest will be to meet up at Michigan state line, maybe some truckstop around there...we have to get trough Milwaukee, and then chi-town traffic, and since I don't want people to have to wait for me, I will leave early in the am to get through the garbage

Yea that sounds like it would work out pretty good, like the first or second truckstop rite when you get into Michigan?

I would recommend either the welcome center right inside of MI, or the T/A truck stop in Sawyer, MI (exit 12).

Traffic will probably suck as usual but we are going away from the city. 7 or 8 will probably work for me. Scott depends on how easy it is to wake the kiddies up and get their butts movin.

What time are you guys planning on being up in Lansing? I want to run to Schram's sometime on thursday and pick up a new windshield and possibly get it installed (I think it has to sit like 2 hours!)

They *USED* to be like that. The last couple times I've been there they've had your typical full service yard attitude of get in, get what you want, give us your money and get out. They used to let you rummage the yard back in the day.

going to schram's would be cool. But won't have any money for it. I got to try to find some parts for the 64 @ homecoming. Been putting money it that and the 72 this year.
