No problem...if you need anything else, just ask...there is a search button up there on the main toolbar if you just type in some search words such as "clear corners" it will bring up every thread related to that. if you can't figure it out though, there's always somebody more than willing to take a shot for ya

After you clear your corners, do your lights flood when it rains?

no just make sure you silicone it back up really good like air tight

Yeah you really have to seal her up good or youll blow out lights like theres no tommarow. Get the silicon from lowes or somthing. and when applying it, DONT be chinsey with it.

totally off topic, but it relates to a search. I joined a forum for Trailblazers because that's what my fiancee drives and they won't let you use the search function (as well as other things) until you make 10 posts. I guess they want to feel you out first, make sure you aren't spamming and junk

thats probably one of the weirdest things I've heard. I don't mind helping people out because sometimes they just don't see the search button, but when I help, I TACTFULLY remind them that its up there. The problem sometimes is people just automatically jumping down somebodys throat for not searching first...all the time you wasted screaming, you could have just gave them the info...no big deal.

Anyhow, I agree with above...silicone and use a bunch of it. Not too much that its running out into the lights, but enough that you're going to get a good seal...after you get them sealed up, I would recommend leaving them in the house with some tape wrapped around them applying constant pressure for as long as you can before you throw them back on your car. the natural heat from the sun will losen them up pretty good if you just throw them back on right away.

If the plastic is still warm from when you initially heated it, the silicone will become more liquidy, and seep down into the crack better. making something similar to a silicone gasket...

^hahaha.. i let my first one sit for about 20 min (while i was doing the other) and the first one got like 5 minutes (the time it took to get the first one back into the car) silicone sets pretty quick... as long as its dry, you shouldn't have a problem.

ya i just put the silverstars in the low and high beams, and then after u install those and look at it, those reflecters look really gay, so ya im going to have to get rid of em...and ya they do look nice in an alero, ive seen them in an eclipse before and i liked em

Just be sure you don't get anything that shines blue... That's highly illegal. White I think would be fine... I've seen a few cars around here that have white turn signals... I don't really care for it, but it shouldn't be illegal....

06-06-2007, 10:49 PM
no im just putting in the silvestar in low beam and silverstar ultra in the high beam and those silverstars in the turn signal

Its a turn signal that only turn on when the car is on i think. Atleast mine didnt work without the igniton on, on.
