Mark, your good at demo derby. You absolutely suck at racing. I never claimed I did demo derby. The only way you got past me was to spin me from behind.

From a new person's standpoint.

- Guys/gals are really cool to talk to and hang out with
- Go karting rocked (trying to race a clean race and having Scott, with his kid, and Kim put me in the wall. Marc spun me out 2 times, tried too many times, but finally spun me out and put me in the wall on the last race)
- Damn weather (way too hot and too much sun)
- 3400 guys that can't pass an Ecotec/5-speed
- Members helping each other out in time of need
- You never know what you are going to win

It was amazing!! New folks have to come out. If zol can make the 900 mile trip, everybody can.

cherrington17

10) For some odd reason, every few miles of ohio smells like a porta-potty
9) Joel is totally different in person
8) Peter (tnalero) is a pretty decent underwater swimmer
7) Go karting is only fun if you have a cart that can keep up with the others
6) Mark can pick up virtually any waitress at red robin
5) Who needs bracelets when you can just jump out your window
4) Scott is a human chimney, but a good enforcer in a 2 seater....
3) ALWAYS bring extra tools to ASS... someone will need them
2) People REALLY want to take pics of all the silly string on the floor of your room, and closing your door apparently is the same as slamming it.
1) ASS newbies are well recieved, and have just as much fun as everyone else.

#1 We have a lot of pranksters and fun people in the group.
#2 Marks body work and interior painting skills leave a lot to be desired.
#3 Cliff is white as a ghost, but does great cannonballs.
#4 Mark sucks at racing.
#5 I suck at demo derby.
#6 Zol is one of the quietest dudes I have met.
#7 Mo is awesome and Scot should thank God every hour he's got her.
#8 Mark is severely jinxed.
#9 The people that don't make ASS '08 will regret it.
#10 Scot doesn't pass out every year.

Things Mo learned at ASS 07

* Being the tail "car" in a caravan going 55 in a 70 is really scary until you put on your hazard lights. Thanks Marc!!!

* Sears in Lansing Michigan thinks they can sell you two tires when you only want one. Go figure.

* Firestone in Lansing Michigan is really cool in the aspect of them staying an hour late to put Zol tire on. Very cool!! Uncool part is they beat the shit out of your tire and rim. The rim is ok though I think!!! Sorry Zol

* Marc still has the rep of dating underage girls!

* Stupid frickin people should not attend car shows..... What is CHROME?? Where would I get that done?....WTF!

* Scot drives me nuts for 3 months prior to ASS, but in the end, I really enjoy meeting and hanging out with each of you. You are a great group of people. We need 30 Alero's next year!!!

* Gregg is easily entertained.

* We need to get a difference source of cooking for the cookout next year.

* As always a fun time had by everyone!! Make the trip, I don't know anyone that have not enjoyed this event!!!

Thanks everyone for coming and we will see you all next year!!!!! It was a pleasure seeing and hanging out with you all.

#10 ASS 08 will kick ass even more!!

#2 Luckily I was there with a spare! And Engine Mounts suck too! Thanks to Scott and all the guys for fixing it in less than 15 mins!!!

#4 I don't think any of the desk clerks liked me since I was always the one to call for towels or pillows (thanks audrey and mark) lol

#5 Scott was the one to tell us not to hit him while he had his kid in the car but that's just an excuse for him to catch us off guard.

#7 U guys were great Thanks sooooo much! And I love ur kids
Here's the joke the youngest told me and Jon last night:
"knock knock"
us- "who's there?"
"Beer"
us- "beer who?"
"I put beer in my koolaid and drink it!"
~~Scott what have you been teaching him!

#9 I never heard him so I must have passed out all nights before him.

10 Mark's Alero looks bad, but HE STILL DROVE IT OUT AND SHOWED IT!
9 Audrey screems really loud when getting hit in Gokarts
8 Scott's great at driving and cooking, but shoots his age in mini golf (62)
7 Jake is good at DDR
6 Train horn is a must in the "Ho" train
5 Homecomming show sucks with no judging
4 Alero owners make excellent Boy Scouts (always prepared i.e. sunscreen, food, tools, tents, chairs, beer etc)
3 Always bring your track marker to target the Durango parked in the Alero section
2 Scot and Mo are awesome!!!!!
1 ASS 2008 WILL BE THE BEST YET!!!! MORE, MORE, MORE ALEROS NEEDED!!!!!!

10 I still somehow can't get the dream of 30 Alero's rollin into lansing
9 the new look for ASS 2007 is CATATONIC, me included
8 I need airride, just for driveways alone
7 some people just never heard of a bratwurst
6 speaking of food, another grill is def. needed, poor scott
5 driving late night to go there or home works awesome if you want no traffic...I left at 130 am lansing, and had no probs with traffic jams
4 we will have more sponsers next year
3 two-ways are still a life saver...(btw someone has one of mine)
2 the high speed 2-way exchange left so many people baffled they couldn't even get a pic...lol

1...this is the best
Ken's sponsers...I can't tell you how much water, and soda I drank for free...there was enough for all of us all weekend, and with as hot as it was it def. helped and everyone could save a lil money as well.
Scott and Maureen again you guys put on one hell of a show, I'm sure there are others that have helped with all this and those people should be thanked as well, the attention we are starting to get is addictive..lol

It was a blast again, seeing and meeting new ASS virgi...i mean rookies, possibly picking up a sponser in Red Robin (even though the manager looked like she was on super speed) go-karting...(scott im 32 not 33.lol) my dream has not been realized yet, so I wont hold my breath for next year

10. Stop being a shy ass motherfucker.
9. Wear sunscreen.
8. Hitting the bump on top of the go-kart track isn't fun.
7. Sockets...
6. Don't run over train track ties.
5. 4AM Wake up calls are way worse than a 1AM snapper fest.
4. Should have bought a 2-way and returned it after ASS.
3. Free food is pretty ill.
2. Leaving Kim and Audrey behind was a way dickier move than what they did to me personally, IDK about Chris though.
1. There are too many nice people. Spec. Scott's wife, which of course I do not know her name. All I heard people calling her was "mo." Nicest person ever.

-- Perhaps maybe next year I will come out and add to the addition of the alero's. I havent' gone for the last two ASS weekends, nor have I really been on the board that much like I used too.

I was going to go last year, but I got an email from someone from here, saying I shouldn't go, because no one would have wanted me there. Maybe next year I should say fuck it and just go, and if you have a problem with me you can kiss my ass. :coolio:

Glad you enjoy the soda and water ;)

I'm glad more people drank it this year. I still have 2 cases but that's fine, last year I took home 6. The water was a big help too, since it was soooooo hot this year.

Note to self: 2 cases of Dew next year will avoid Scot's bitching :jk:

I learned that even if you bore your 3400 over, if you don't have a cat to help produce torque a decently modded 3400 will keep up with you and on the other hand the auto in the v6 sucks because a Eco 5 speed w/ exhaust and intake will stay just ahead of you (from a roll anyway).

Thanks Gregg for making me feel good about my car and Cliff for ruining that confidence.

All this because I didn't want to do the pre-pay pump thing.

Mustang, with the Aleros, IDK, but judging by your signture and you are looking to buy a 91 5.0 and a Convertible on top of that, I say sure, but for only 2 reasons.

Oh and redog, i own the mustang now and just put the 5.0 in it last weekend. I still have a whole year of mod's to do to that car. you all are impressed by a 14.5 alero im shootin for at least 12's. the only prob i see is im not putting a roll cage in a convertable (looks retarded) soo ill only get one run down the track before they kick me off. :scpimp:

I'm impressed by a 14.5 - 14.9 alero because they run 15.8 - 16.2 stock :p and because they confuse the civic and V6 mustang crowd that permeates Delaware. My friend's got a 5.0 mustang hardtop. Bored out engine, all kinds of work done to it. I think he's on his 5th transmission now. I raced and beat him because his car was overheating and not getting enough fuel at the time. 14.9 Alero > high 12s mustang .

And maybe next year I'll have enough money and time to go to ASS, sounds like a ton of fun.
