Well I was crusin the other night and the speaker finally it decided it did not like all the power i was giving it and it decided to rip the wire from the connection point and this is the second time this happened with my jl 15w3d4 wired @ 2 ohm to directed 1100 d so I am pushing 750 watts rms to it and (no wonder it gave way after about a year) Now i am just trying to decide what to do. So tell me what ya think and I am thinkin of a 15 thats under 500 hundred well somthing in that range anyways.

Um try ALPINE R-15, will handel that power easy, specks are rated low
I know of r-15's being powered by mrd-1000's... thats 1000watts rms at 2ohms... they last a long time, sound tight and are a good mix of sq/spl

Fosgates blow too easy...try Kove or Memphis Audio.

Well I personally hate fosgate they just lack in the sq but spl is another story. Right now I got a couple ideas focal polyglass 15, pioneer premier 12, alpine 12 type q and maybe earthqake magma sub or jl w7 13.
