Recently my Alero was in a accident from being slammed in the behind and took out my rear axles. I was thinking when its done with the 2000 dollar overhaul If i should trick it out with a body kit, or try to lower it. Would any of these ideas be bad? Im sure after repairs it will be fine but I do not want to waste money since im only 16 and a low budget.

No rear axle on the Alero's... but I'm getting what you're saying. Body kit's a good idea, if you just want to go for the look. Depending on the roads you drive on, and the quality of them, I'd say a body kit and lowering go hand in hand. It's also a popular idea to just get it lowered. So, no, you're not out to lunch, either way is a good idea (except if you're on a low budget, I'd go with lowering, save up the money for body kit and rims that would work for the look). But, that's just my 2cents

Yeah i know i couldnt think of what its called the individual suspension and shocks were completely gone ( I dont know but its $384 a side used parts ) (The back wheels wobbled and were seperated all i can remeber ) with most the back end. I know kits are expensive ive been looking at the Ae-D Alero kit or the AAS kit. How much does lowering usually cost?

You can get the springs for cheap but it is recomended you get new struts along with the springs. Probably around 340 for springs and struts.
