Hey guys...

Does anyone know if Haynes makes a manual for 2001 alero 3.4?

I have seen 99-2000 alero in a comprehensive haynes manual but nothing specific for the 2001 model

THanks!

I haven't seen it either, but unless you have a very specific problem, then the 99-2000 should be fine since they have barely changed the car since then.

I think the motor changed a little bit in 2001. the first thing my mech said in 2000 when I bought the car new was "this is going to be a redesing" but I forget why

If you're looking for info on the 3400 then I'm not sure if you'll find it. I know that in 2001 the 3.4 was made more available (but unsure if any changes in the engine were made).

fyi for ecotec owners, the ecotec wasn't made available until 2002, so it won't be covered in this manual.

I've looked and haven't found it. I have the 99-00 one, and haven't seen anything REALLY different yet (except that it is based on the 3100 and not the 3400).
