Well I was gonna smoke my tails, but after doing one (a spare I had) I'm not sure if I like it.

I'll let you be the judge.

PS: sorry for the mad reflections

I like that amount of tint on them. I'm not one for the all-black look, just a little darker.

if I could afford one, I would. But for now, the ho' is my truck.

I like that amount of tint on them. I'm not one for the all-black look, just a little darker.

Yeah me neither, I really dont wanna go any darker, I think it would be too much black, and the cops give me enough shit with the windows.

Well if you dont like it ALL BLACK, then just put another coat on them and it will be fine. In my opinion that coat you put on looks too light, one more and it should be good.

I agree with Billy. One more coat and it will look nice! :)

Steve... I want your Ho.

Have you been to newfoundland lately? I saw one that appeared to be identical to yours in May/June.

I agree, not too dark, all black looks like theres something missing.

On another note, I think you don't like it because not all of them are done. When they all are, it will look sweet :)

While I think looks wise the tint LOOKS great, I always have to wonder why one would make it so their brakelights and signal lights are darker, making it that much harder for the person behind you to see them. The way people drive nowadays, all you need now is someone to say they didn't notice the brake lights come on because they are tinted so dark. Just my opinion though.

You know what would be really cool... And I was just thinking about doing this to mine... I would like to just take off the inner tails on the trunk lid, mold the trunk lid to make it look like there weren't tails there to begin with, then just have the outside ones and have those tinted... :D I think that would look sweet... There's a guy that use to be on here that had something like that... He had that one kit that we can't mention on here on his car.

I found it!!! This is what I want to do to my car, only Where the turn signal is, I will put the reverse light. In the orange part that has no purpose other than it's just an empty spot on the tail light, that's where the turn signal will be moved too. And the tails will be tinted except for the reverse lights. I think it will look sweet!

as *neat* as that may look, it makes the alero look like a Neon from the back....now who wants that?

cavaliers60

actually, I think it looks more like the Stratus, or the intrepid.

meh, mayhap, I don't have pics to compare side by side but I look at it and it just screams Neon. Tis a mod that'll turn a few heads though (people will wonder how you got that chrysler rear on an Alero.lol)

Steve, I think that mild amount of tint will look really sharp. Although your ho already looks classy. Don't do anything drastic to it. Of course, just my two cents.

Cav: Nick called you out. I agree with em.

nope, definitely neon.

cavaliers60

Our rear ends are much wider than the Neon's, and not as rounded out... The only thing that makes it "resemble" a neon is the tail lights...

and so what if it looks a little like a neon's rear end???? I think it looks cool.

Well the spray tint that I used is very transparent, here is a pic of a cavalier using the same stuff. (pics from v6z24.com)

I'm just gonna leave them stock, it breaks up all the black on the car. With the windows being tinted and having a black car, If I were to tint the tails, I think it would just be too much. :scpimp:

As for the shaved trunk lid, that is a lot of work and highly illegal with the missing reverse lights and third tail light.
