You all disappoint me, especially you East Coasters! Every year people bitch that the Olds meets are always in the Great Lakes or Midwest regions and there's never anything on the east coast. Every year you want to organize a regional meet here but never do.

And now one of the premiere motorsports complexes in the country practically hands you a formal Olds event on a silver platter and NOBODY GOES?!?!?!? I've had this day circled on my calendar since the schedule 1st came out last February, thinking "Aha! Here's our Shore Meet. We can show off our cars and race them and then hit the beach/boardwalk that night."

Every few months I put out a reminder to you all about it and people seemed to be interested. No prep on your part, just show up. Right?

I am at the track often enough as it is. And the fact that today isn't a Points Meet, Sport Compact event, or other big money race (winner in the Olds bracket only gets $100 and a trophy), means that I don't have to be there today. But if so much as 1 of you were to say "hey, I'm coming down. See you there!" I would already be parked in the pits right now with my Aleromod shirt on.

RP's almost an hour from my house but I would have been there. Why? Because this was supposed to be our Regional Meet!!! But I guess folks in MD/DE/PA/NJ/NY/CT are just all talk. I guess I learned my lesson. :icon_rolleyes:
