ok i heard someone wanted to konw how to do it so here is the how to again. i got hte gas cap off ebay for 90.00 its for a 94-04 mustang. and the bottom edge wont be perfectly flush with car but its hard to notice unless ur looking for it.

here we go

take off hte door and the black backing that is inside there

then u have this,
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c396/kissmyss03/fileing.jpg?t=1188346902

you have to file down the gap between the two holes that look whiteish to make room for the hinge of the billit cap

now u need to file for where each fake bolt is around the billit gas cap, only two bolts are real but the others arent flush with the back of the gas cap so u have to file spots for it to rest so it doesnt push against ur panel. and you need to cut off the edge around the black backing to the gas neck, and u can see how much u have to file down to make room for billit cap hinge.

here is hte back of gas cap. the part i circled is a part u need to file down almost flush with gas cap backing, it stuck up to far and made gas cap uneven with panel. u can see the two black things in the back, they kinda clip on the back of the panel to hold that side in place.

FINAL PRODUCT: bad ass alerohttp://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c396/kissmyss03/lowangle-1.jpg?t=1188347520

hey that looks nice, but would you say that this could be reversed,or would it expose a lot of the cutting you did?could you take a pic with the door open, does it look sloppy inside,or is it a nice finish?

if u had a spare black backing, it could be reversed easily and would look fine
