pretty sure no body on here has done that. Depending on how you want it to open, it might look good. Or it might not. I've never seen one in person before.

itd take cutting hood in half or the design u want prolly reinforce the fender area . but id be afraid ud lose some integraty in the hood and also the nasty looking seam ud have in the middle of ur hood maybe wouldnt be that big but u would see it. ask richie he prolly klnows more and has some pics.

^I also agree with meadus. I've seen the split hood in person, not on an Alero, but on a Neon. Hideous looking....

split hood maybe for a showcar but on a alero a carbon fiber hood would be just enough.

ew i hate split hoods. never looks 'clean' to me. Got to be a PITA to work on as well. I think most in this thread have come to a universal conclusion - and i agree.

I'd like to get the automatic actuators and use them on my normal hood. WOuld be cool....pop the hood latch then hit a button and the hood goes up!!

lambo doors look good on one car, lamborghinis. Not true they look good on other cars, I was however joking about it on an alero....guess I better start using the J/k tag from now on.

I just find the kits for the lambo doors are sloppy, the doors are wobbly when up in ther air, they never really line up right, plus, they don't really go stright up and down, they go out, then up. Also not very practical for a DD.

I like the doors on exotic coupes not regular passenger cars, but I get what you are talking about.

AAS fenders- 224$
...AAS fenders are $800, not including shipping. I got the fenders, skirts and a $200 wing and paid $1200 total shipped.
Just making sure you're not buying off ebay. If so, I got a bridge for sale. :)
