Trunk / Deck Lid lift problems

The lifting part / spring in my trunk has broken.. Basically I have no lift to my trunk.. The little metal rod that creates the lift has broken..

Does anyone know much about these breaking? Part numbers, price..? Does anyone have an old one they are looking to get rid of?

also another question i have shaved trunk and more weight stays open sometimes any way to make it better
