strut bar help

i just received my strut bar that i purchased on ebay and when i went to install it, the bar hits on top of the alternator where theres a screw. i think its the ground screw but im not sure. does anyone know how i can fix it so it wont hit the alternator? thanks

Turn the strut bar around.

if that doesnt work send it to me hahaha but try and grind or dremel it out so that its just slightly higher the the alt

i had the exact problem hahahaha, ya as stupid as it sounds, just turn it around hahah

oh ok. thanks guys. i'll give it a shot. i was to put washers under the bracket so it would be higher. but i'll turn it around first. thanks guys.

where did you find a strut bar on ebay?i cant find one.is it under grand am?

well, i tried turning the strut bar around and i got the same results. it still hits the alternator. i tried every possible configuration and it still hits. i dont know what else to do. any suggestions? :-(
