Michigan Meet up in the spring.

Hey don't forget some people are going to maybe try to do a meet up at like Kensington Metro Park or Island Lake state park in the spring. Bar-B-Que and all that good stuff. Maybe.

For those of you who don't know your way around Metro Detroit... both of those places are nice parks on the NW side of Metro Detroit, near Brighton. It's actually a fairly central location, 'bout an hour from Lansing, two from GR, and one from the other side of D-town.

When are u getting together? I am supposed to go to Michigan for my brother's wedding next year. My family lives near Detroit off of 275 and Michigan Ave. I don't really know where those parks are.

Yeah, I don't care this is gonna be an informal, get together hang out in the park. I can see about reserving a pavalion or something like that if there is enough interest. If you want to grill or what not, it's cook whatcha brung kinda thing. Just a real informal let's get together and hange out.

it didn't suck. it was a meeting of the elite alero owners, right pimp? ;) i'll bring a tv and put it in my trunk and bring my ps2. we could have a madden 2004 tournament or a gran tourismo 4 tournament. bring a couple of bbqs and some chips and pop (and by pop i mean beer) and hang out all day.

I'll show i'd could use some ideas and talk to some people that actually know what here talking about. I've got buddies that drive aleros to get around but their fun cars are their POS Fiero's their dumping money into bucause well ireally have no clue what the hell their thinking.

Don't know any of the details yet, this was just a thought starter, but since there is so much interest, it will happen. As soon as I find out my trip schedual for work I will post a saturday in the spring and we can go from there.

With it that early your are still running the chance of snow and what not, and if you are having it at a metro or state park was was stated a while ago, well the ground is muddy around picnic tables and what not. I also don't know if you can get a pavalion that early at Island Lake or Kensington.

Please no meets in the snow. Snow sucks. Oh and not the first two weeks of April because I'm going on a cruise, and I can't wait. B) So mid to late APril would be wonderful and snow-less.

We could have a meet this weekend and have drifting contests.... I did a sweet move into the parking lot this morning, Cascade Road is a mess.
