Im finally getting a chance to run my Ho this Tuesday at O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indy. They are holding a Tuesday Night Street Legals race entry is 15 bucks and run all night on 1/4 mile. I am going to run against a buddy of mine for $hits and giggles. Hes got a 94 v-r4 3000gt around 500 horse. with new nitrous hook up he wants to test out he should be pushing 6. Im gonna get waxed by him but some friendly racing goes a long way. I will be able to post some times up Wednesday morning hopefully. Im PUMPED:yahoo: Hopefully i can throw up some wagers and represent the Aleros.

Woot, nice. I'm heading to the track Wednesday to see if I can snag some 14s on a 65 degree evening with my 2.7" supercharger pulley.

Have fun with that! Try to get him off the line, he already knows he has a faster car but reaction time counts alot

So what kinda times do you expect ? Compared to what other people have run with similar mods of course.

im not sure man to be honest i havnt even went to the limit on the mods ive got like putting 180 degree stat in with dhp pcm so im losing a lil there. i had a ripped throttle body gasket when i got my rsm tb so i used permatex and it doesnt leak but i wanna do it right so i think tomorrow i am going to order the tb spacer from pfyc and it has two oversized gaskets plus im getting the stat but it wont be here by tuesday. im hoping 14.5's maybe ive got a factory freak. never know.

if you have a 62 mm t/b and you are gonna order the t/b spacer from pfyc you wil have to carefully port the spacer to match the t/b, thats what i had to do, the spacer is designed for a stock t/b.

Factory freak ftw! I'm shooting for 14.7 once it gets colder, and I've spent less on my mods than some have on their rims lol. I wish u well n im curious what time you'll run. Looking forward to seeing some times :)

didnt get to run it. 30% chance of rain and website said they were still running so i called the track and after 5 nobody answers so i went ahead and drove the 60 miles and they were sending people home and shutting the gates so i am emailing them about maybe having a way people could get in touch and find out when things are cancelled so they dont waste their time

doesn't that piss you off? i drove the distance to the track today and all it was was light rain, and they cancelled it though it stopped raining and was dry for the next 5 hours. -_-

VR-4 FTW! I loved my boyfriends 91... He sold it though. The turbos went and next on the list was the motor. The car was just a winter beater though, so he didn't care. It was fast, but it was beat by a Charger R/T. I wish he didn't sell it but it was going to cost him a butt load in repairs once everything crapped out, and those motors suck to work on. Even my small hands couldn't get into some of the places on the engine.

Yeah, My dad had a 3000GT VR-4 back in '92. I remember him saying he never wanted to work on it because of all the stuff crammed under the hood. Only ended up having it for a year or so.

now add some bigger turbos bigger piping and you have a mess you can't mess with.

whos said it was a ten second car? Its an 11.3 car on slicks hitting the gate at only 3500 rpms he might reach ten when he gets his new clutch thats the only thing stopping him of stalling at over 5,000 rpm.

well i hit brown county raceway sunday and it was HOT 98 degrees in indiana thats effin stupid. I was kinda dissapointed i ran a 9.96 for my fastest time and i found out that i have some horrible tires. either that or the track is bad because i dropped down to 26 psi and was hopping horribly. I was told that Brown County was the slowest track in the state by some regulars so that kinda helped me feel a little better. the street fall invitational is next sunday and its ran in the evening its supposed to only be a high of 76 degrees so i am hoping to cut a couple tenths. My springs and struts will be in next week along with two perelli p zero neros so im hoping to cut my times down drastically because front end is definately coming up alot so thats probably why i am getting alot of hop. so when i get my slips scanned i will post them up for you.
