i scanned my alero after it was starting to act up i knew i should have got the riviera :( it said on the scanner p0507- idle control system idle too high
but now all of a sudden my o2 sensor is reading.

it does it through the gears downshifting. this was the only code i could pull up the 3 times i scanned it

check for a vacuum leak...if you can't find one easily, start lightly spraying brake kleen around the top side of the engine and all vacuum lines. if you hear the idle change you're close to the leak...keep going till you home in on it and then fix it.

sad thing was all that i did was disconnect the battery for a couple hours and then connected it next day and bam code :( well somehow out of the blue my o2 sensor started to work in the mix :thumb:

still having the problem something tells mean it is by the throttle body but when i looked i didnt see anything not attached. somehow a hose or something unattached itself i didnt even touch them. :(

believe i found the vacuum leak right off the throttle body vacuum out. it looked like the clamp somehow cut it or something.
