So im getting ready to tear into my alero with a body kit, bags, and rims. The rims I have already picked out, the bags are all set and the shop is taking it in on the 10 of oct :yahoo: , there going to do the kit and paint as well. Heres my question.
I want to go with the grand am mirrors as well as the grand am ribbed door pannel, but im still undecided what kit would look best with that combo, any opions on what i should do before i commit to a kit, and will i have to us grand am side skirts if i want to use the door pannel?.
Also im going with a set of 18's, are any of these kits going to have an issue wih laying out, ive noticed the AAS rear bumper look like it sits realy low.
Thanks everyone

No ribbed door panels ansd a razzi kit would look the best!

the SE style ribs or the GT style?
I think the SE ones would look horrbile
the GT ones wouldn't look as bad but you can't exactly just put em on

bagged I like the a3d kit personally. But if it were my car I'd just leave it w/o a kit. I think that an unmolested bagged ho would look hot.

Put the Showoff 3 front and rear bumpers and put Grand Am Invader 2 side skirts with a JSP Scorpion Wing.
i'm so sick of the aas kit. everyone has it, and in my opinion, it looks like shit. the "forbidden" kit is my personal favorite, followed by the razzi kit.

the andys kit make our cars look like something out of the fast and furious the razzi is ok but the Automotive Engineered Design kit looks wise is the best looking

Hell, why not go with 40" rims to go with it and a Fast and Furious paint job.:lol::lol:

if u want GAGT ribs (which i like..) then u gotta go with the forbidden kit imo. all the other kits seem to 'busy' so it would look tacky with ribs as well.
Razzi is usually my fave kit tho

The 4-doors for sure. The 2 doors may take a little work.

I was thinking thi same thing............ but ive been tossing arround the idea that the razzi may gve it a cleaning look, as the kit isnt overly aggressive.
The shops already charging me 6k for the body work (shaved door handels, and body kit paint and install) and the air ride......id hate to add the DE price tag to that.

Ew, shop work?? Get a buddy who knows what he's foing and try and do some yourself with his help man! It'll be cheaper and way more fun than dropping it off and picking it back up when done.

yea im tossing this idea arround to, of just keeping it stock and clean looking, ive decided to wait until its bagged before i make any decisions, once i see it, then ill be able to figure out the next plan of attack, but i think i may end up razzi, i think it looks cleaner.

6 grand for body work?
just think how much of a monster your car would be if you put that money into the engine.
That's what i'd do

You know what? I'll say it.
The forbidden Kit is by far the best kit i've seen on an Alero. It flows perfectly with it.

Personally, if I was doing this, I'd agree with AJules. Put the 6 grand into the engine first. You'd have a hell of a sleeper. If you planned on doing both anyway, I'd go engine first, exterior second.

forbidden kit is way better than any other kit... aas kit it alright but kinda bubbly... and the razzi looks so close to stock that it's pointless to even put it on...

also the most expensive.
That's why most people have a different kit.

But, then it would be a one off and if thats what you were craving then it would be worth it.

For the money, I think Razzi looks the best, but it is not a full replacement, still uses stock front and rear bumpers.
