Actually it's this entire weekend, but Mitch (Daytona) an I will be there tomorrow.
Gates open at 10am and the price is $25 to race (at least that's what the web site says)
There is racing on Sunday too, but Mitch and I won't be there. We both have other plans for Sunday ;)

Redog titled this incorrectly. This weekend is the NHRA Sport Compact FallNationals. Yes, it is predominantly imports racing this weekend but is actually for any sport compact car. Not sure Ken's Alero fits (he'll find out tomorrow when he tries to go through tech inspection) but my Daytona does (see signature below).
The Daytona is a domestically built American car with an engine straight from Mitsubishi and installed at the factory. It gives me the added bonus of being allowed to race in:
- MOPAR events
- Import races
- Sport Compact races
- Detroit Iron events
Won the main event last year but can't repeat as I have my boss's wedding this Sunday. Saturday/tomorrow is a pre-event. Less money to win and probably no Wally but should still be fun.

I've gotten the alero into this event before.
Sport compact defintion is: FWD car with an engine 3.5 liters or smaller. I know that cars like the Supra don't fit this, but that is the defention.
Besides, the top half of my motor is Canadaian: I got my manifolds and TB from RSM racing in Canada :p
