When the time comes (not very soon), I plan on getting:
- Pacesetter header
- high flow kitty
- 2.5" piping all the way
- two resonators
What do you all suggest for the type of muffler that will be as quiet as stock, or quieter, with no raspy garbage? (Hence two resonators someone suggested to me)

Probably nothing will be as quiet as stock if you want it to flow decently.
But something that will be not too loud, but also flow the most, would be 2 resonators (Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator) and a Vibrant Streetpower muffler, or a Magnaflow. Especially with a supercharger, you'll want everything to be straight thru. It'll be louder than stock, but not incredibly obnoxious.

<--- magnaflow... quiet while driving, but gives a nice tone when you get on it :)

glass pack no resonator hollow out cad. with 2.5 piping all the way back with a 3 1/2 in. tip... You could wake all your neighbors up when you start it up in the morning lol

^^hate to say it but if you lived next to me then you wouldn't be waking me up for long. Besides he wants as quite as stock.
Dynomax seems pretty good to me, when I had my Trans Am I had one and you didn't really notice that it was an aftermarket exhaust untill I got on it.

hate to say it but if you read the original post, i want the QUIETest thing possible on earth, lol. i hate the exhaust tone of any four cylinder, except AMS's Evo, damn. All I want anyone to hear is the intake/supercharger side :)

The quietest thing possible on earth would be your stock exhaust. If all you're worried about is sound, don't change a thing, or add some big fat chrome tips  . If you want all the flow you can get, you're going to hear the exhaust, plain and simple. The 2.4 doesn't actually sound that bad with an exhaust. It doesn't get real high pitched until about redline.

That hollowed cat is hurting you more than helping. The exhaust travels through the exhaust pipe and then all of a sudden flow's into a huge chamber and then back into the pipe. It's causing a lot of turbulence and stagnation. Put a high flow cat on it, or if you absolutely don't want a cat for whatever reason, cut out the cat and put a 2.5" pipe in it's place.

You could try to use a stock right-side C5 muffler. I'm sure you could find one on ebay or a corvette forum.
My next muffler for the car is a Corsa which came from a wrecked C5.
i would have thought with that spoiler you had on it before you would have wanted it as loud as possible :)

Like I said way the hell back when, I installed the spoiler and color matched it (unlike 99% of these ricers), because I liked the way it looked. I did not think my car was supersonically fast, or act like it. I liked the aesthetics. Fuckin' rice took away all of that from me. I grew tired of seeing every piece of shit Honda or Toyota with a spoiler like mine, along with a can, driving like they're sweet.
It put me into that crowd. I put up with it for a while, everyone assuming I was some ricebox, although I really liked the way it looked, since I liked road racing/gran turismo style racing, and most of the vehicles that are in that type of sport have spoilers like that. After all the badgering from 50% of observers, finally, I said fuck it, and tore it off.
I hate cans, I hate people who drive as if they just own at life, driving a rusted pile with a huge spoiler. I hate rice.
What I don't understand is how NoSweat83 and jturkey69 got away with it, besides that theirs are fiberglass.

Maybe it's because they both have body kits, so the spoiler on the back kind of goes with the whole look. Personally, I'm not a fan of big spoilers, but along with the other body mods their cars have, their spoilers look pretty good and go with the rest of the car. To me, a big aluminum wing thrown on a car with no other body mods just looks ridiculous, color matched or not.
Again, this is just my opinion, but I think a few other people might share the same opinion, that's probably why everyone always made comments about it.

i guess the more heavily modified you are, the more people start to understand its a passion, not a bolt on. Both of their cars have full kit and some exhaust/engine work (if i remember right)
if you finish up your engine and do a little body work, toss it back on if you liked it. its YOUR car. and if people keep mouthing off, you won't be able to hear them from the sound of your tires spinning.
...but i gotta say, i love the fact that you brought a picnic table cover to ASS. Classic.

Exactly, there's really no such thing as done - the more power your engine makes, the more you want to keep pushing it to make more.

Turkey never got away with it. He heard it from a few people, but not like you did. And yes, the bodykit help deflect some of the harassing.

Yeah, I photoshopped what I originally intended the car to look like, and the wing complements the kit pretty well, although I LOVE the Razzi wing + AAS kit, so I'm dead set on that combo.

Ya, lots of things still to do with the engine and such. It's laid out roughly on my FQuick (click the sig).

Its just for when they inspect it... its a 2.5 piping inside the cat.. I wish I could take pics of it for yawl its pretty bad ass

i was just saying that hes done more modification to the engine than most people, cause you said he needs to do more, idk, im too retarded right now, im talking too much:lol: later!

Ah, ok. Yeah that's much better than having a big hollow chamber for the exhaust to stop and take a rest in, then decide to start flowing again :p

hey, not getting off topic being that this is a post about exhaust, but i have pacesetter headers and a borla cat back exhaust...... it sounds decent at like 2-3 rpms, but any bit higher, it doesn't even sound like much at all..... magnaflow highflow cat, and taking the resenator off, with a 3in tail....... what do you think?

the tip is a waste of time.. why don't you just remove the resonator? and see what happens first? cheaper and the resonator is part of what's keeping it quieter... but why do you want it louder? Like me personally if it were possible I'd make my exhaust quieter.
