Gas Tank issues

I have a 2001 GLS which is giving me a headache recently. It does not let me fill up at the pump... i mean .. sounds like it is already full and shuts off the pump automatically as if it was.. although it needs 10 more gallons or so. ??? If i pump really slow it works but it takes 15 minutes to fill 10 gallons and you have to be careful not to spill on the over fill.
ANY Ideas would be helpful.. thanks

air bubble in the tank? it happened on my old car once, an air bubble got stuck, I think i just force filled it a bit and then some gas gurgled out lol, but it fixed it B)

If it has one of rubber thingys on it that could be it. I could never fill up my car at a pump like that. Try a station without it.
