Maybe for sale,
But I'm trying to install them on this car first. You think it's a good idea to hook em up with the rear end speakers lol. These are 300w speakers though.
I just burned my last amp....eh, figures.

No offense but I think Jensen subs are garbage! Before you install them cop some some decent ones. Save yourself the time and effort.

Yea, is it possible, with no Amp to wire them through the rear speakers. Sounds weird, dumb, but I don't have my amp anymore lol.

Then don't do it...they'll only be getting power from the headunit and not nearly enough to make them do anything....

this is true, not to mention subwoofers aren't meant to receive the full range of frequencies this would send them.

You wont be moving a subwoofer under headunit power.
The headunit is only about 15-20 WRMS and it doesnt have the headroom to drive a subwoofer...lol

It would make a little bit of sound come out, but no thump at all. I've also heard that underpowering subs was bad for them...
ya you can blow subs if you underpower them

To elaborate alittle more it does this by fry n the voice coil. When the sub has the right amount of power it cools its self by the air displacement it causes. When you play a sub with little to no power but turn the volume up what you are doing is causing the voice coil to overheat, hell depending on how high you turn it up you could here popping or clicking. So yeah if you do underpower it I can see some problems, Now if you underpower your amp then its going to die hopefully you only blow a fuse or two, some times it worst.

Actually both previous statements are false and myths.
You cant blow a sub due to under powering! There is no minimum limit on a subwoofer, only a maximum. Which is set dependent on testing and is a thermal limit. Due to box design, you may find a lower or higher mechanical limit.
The myth comes to play when people under power like this: You dont have enough power to efficiently drive your subwoofer/speakers so you start cranking settings up on the head unit or amplifiers. At some point the signal becomes clipped and is sent to the subwoofer/speaker. The clipped signal is a DC since its a square wave. Which causes the sub to fully extend for the period that its clipped. In this time period there is a rapid heat buildup in the coil. This is what causes a subwoofer to fry and the myth. Simply under powering will not cause it. Its when people abuse the equipment. Same is true for over powering!
However there is some point when you just give a sub to much power...lol
At time I have doubled or even tripled rated power to subwoofers... When done correctly and not abused for long periods of time, it can take it!
