I have goodyear eagles......LOVE THEM! they cost around $105 a peice though. But the ride is quiet, traction is awesome. I think ive only hydroplained once while it was raining......in the snow.....they are GOOD! all around good tires, get them! ;-)

I use the Continental ContiExtremeContact with very good results through the chicago winters. A friend of mine also has good experiences with the Goodyear Assurance Tripletred. I might venture to try the Goodyear Eagle F1 All-Season next though.

man i want those tires (the contiextreme contact) but the cheapest place i could find them has 'em on back order...and up here in nh im gonna need something with that kind of grip (they were rated very well on tire rack) and for 79/tire you can't beat that but i'm going with what they had in stock as I need tires asap...the Kumho ecsta asx...if i get these on before you get yours, i'll let you know how they are

I have a set of Cooper snows I'll sell you cheap if you just want snow tires for now. I would have put them back on the Alero this winter but it's not going anywhere, much less in the snow.

I'm not really looking for snow tires, cause I'm cheap. lol I need a good set of all-season tires... I looked at those Eagle F1 tires from Goodyear. I just didn't know if anyone has tried them or if they have one that's better. I'll give those a look again. My rear tires barely have tread left on them right now... yikes!!! Not good for snow....

candace, your not allowed to talk about all weather anything, when the WORST weather you get is rain. :glare:

i just got some dunlop graspic's. haven't put them on yet, since we haven't had any snow. i'm eagerly waiting to see how well they do. they rank pretty close to blizzaks.

nah the worst weather we get is ICE
we dont get snow.. just ice slicks.. =/ And he said he didnt want snows just all seasons. Go check out the specs and ratings on the Harmony's... its really great. Michelin is almost always a top tire to have

I drive on ice (washboardy even) all winter, they don't plow our roads up here they just pack on and get shiny.

I swear by my Yokohama Avid V4s. They're nice all around and I think the suggested price is $80 per tire for the rubber. I dont know that you can beat the price to performance ratio. Theyre just plain awesome. Only downside is treadwear, they go faster than the 500 rating would suggest.

I dont remember what the stock ones were, but i drove in snow-rain-icey roads and i never had any problems with traction.:rolleyes2:

I had pirellis and I hated them. They were really noisey. SOunded like I had off road tires.

really? mine are very quiet and they overall seem to fit the alero well. they look somewhat like performance tires as well..

The Rsa's the car came stock with were probably the worst all season tires ever. May last were yokohomas which were quality liked everything minus the fact that the tread life was absolute dirt.
