Yea, so tonight i FINALLY got around to putting the AC delcos in my car, they are great. A lot better than my stock ones, im at about 61000 miles and i still had the stock ones in there. Let me just say that the back ones KILLED my back from leaning over the engine.....wow.
I also had to bleed my brakes, because when i was putting the drilled and slotted rotors on, i was an idiot and loosened the bolt that holds the brake fluid (on the caliper). So i must have let a little air in cause the braking sucked after that. So now my brakes work GREAT! im so damn happy right now!:coolio:
Next thing i have to do is clean my air filter......i have a CAI and ive had it in for about 2 years now. So i think its time to clean that.
Basically i had to get all this done before thanksgiving because im driving 4 hours on thursday, so i need my baby to run perfect;)

Question??? Sorry to highjack the thread.
I have been looking into doing my sparkplugs but I cannot find anything in the owners manual or in the engine compatment on what the gap needs to be, what did you use?

gap should be .060". if you buy the right plugs you shouldnt have to regap them but its always safe to check.

gap should be .060". if you buy the right plugs you shouldnt have to regap them but its always safe to check.I've been wondering about this statement, because I haven't expirenced a noticable difference between .050" or .060" , I guess my question is is there a noticable difference? Some different opinions would be appreciated.
When I did mine they came gapped at .050" right out of the box, and I left it there. No problems so far that I can tell.
You won't get much of a noticeable difference from a plug unless its bad or put in wrong.

haha i told him the same thing on AIM

You do not have to replace if you have a K&N filter.

oh yea, and to the person who wanted to know what the gap should be. I looked in the owners manual, went to the index, looked up specifications. then it has the gap for the 4 cylinder and 6. 4 should be .043, and 6 should be .060

I must have missed that, I was looking all around the book with my dad breathing down my neck saying look on that page and pointing at the book, I'll hopefully get to do my plugs soon as the gap is quite a bit more than .060 and they look like complete crap.

never ever! What's the gap for???? I just went to autozone and told them what I drove and the motor it had.... I haven't had any problems minus the fact that one of the spark plugs were put in crooked and I had a misfire because of it. I clean my air filter about once every three months or so... This past summer, I did it once a month cause I did a lot of driving through construction zones and gravel roads.
