Hello everyone. i have this sub http://www.audio-warehouse.com/web/mdl/HF12D4/detail.asp and it is wired for 2 ohm. I was just wandering what amp to get for it. I dont really want to spend too much either. So i just going to need a 2 ohm stable amp for about 350 rms.

i found this amp.... http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=2961&CFID=6866938&CFTOKEN=fdbce9760c753d34-8A53AADC-1422-7C6E-5060BB1BE402D431
what do you guys think about that one? If i got an amp that had more rms watts than the sub, is that bad?

The amp you linked has less watts RMS than the speaker. If you have an amp that is more RMS watts than the speakers RMS it is not bad just don't go above its peak watts

That amp would be perfect for that sub. I always recommend clarion for a budget amp. It will do 400rms at 2 ohms and is CEA rated.

EDIT: That amp is still on backorder, so you might have to wait to get it. Another budget amp to get is:

Allot of people on here will probably see Audiobahn and immediately bash it, when really that series of amps actually do their rated power!
