so i go out this morning and try to start and get just cranking but no turn over
anyone have this issue before .. i'm thinking plugs & boots. AND HOPE NOT THE COIL that would just kill me money wise :(

could be an effed up sensor? The trac cont. I think works by cutting fuel to the motor when low trac is senced I think but what ever it does if something was screwed up and was reading low trac all the time then that could be why the motor was bucking and why you couldn't go over 15mph. That might also be why it won't start? I dunno.

also if it was just plugs and boots I wouldn't think that it would all of a sudden start acting up like that. You would think that there would be a little warning first. What about trying to unplug the sensors on the hubs. Would the car under normal circumstances run right with those unplugged? If so then unplug them and see if she goes any better.
if you unplug them your disabling your ABS and ETS, so those lights will be lit up on the dash but it would start up normally, i doubt thats the problem though, check your fuses make sure nothing is blown or wiggly

but i pulled the new plugs out this morning from cyl 1(passenger side) to cyl 4 (driver side) i think thats the way it should go on the 2.2.. dont got a book to look at but anyway
1 oil on threads and on plug
2 oil on threads only plug clean
3 plug completely clean
4 threads clean carbon build up on the plug

yeah but there is oil in cylinder 1
my step dad thinks there is either a hole in the piston or the piston rings are shot, with how fast the oil got there and how much oil is in the cylinder....
i also thru in that it may be a blown valve seal.. but he does not think so.
but its getting towed to his shop in Mt Clemens MI on tuesday thank god one of our friends is a carhauler trucker.
if its rings $130
piston i cant find one online so it looks like going to the junkyard for it

Ok update as of 12/8/07
Step dad ran code reader
o2 sensor downstream
and Random Misfire
he thinks it may be the ignition cartridge on top of the eng.
but there is no oil in the pistons and compression is good
so i'll prolly be looking at the junk yard on friday for a new ing. coil and starter for my truck
