Redog

Whooooooo Hoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I only drove for about 7 miles but in that 7 miles I did a few things.
I floored it a couple of times up to 6000 RPM's at one point, but got off of it right away, did a track launch and the rest normal driving.
Just seeing if my foot can handle it, plus to get Redog rolling again.
After a short drive, about 1 block from the house, we realized that we had to drive back into town to the Chevy Dealership to pick up some alignment bolts I had ordered for the Delta.
I stopped at the house and sent my wife in to pick-up the receipt and my crutches just in case I needed them (left my boot at home and wore my sneaker on my right foot) and then drove to the dealer to pick up these hard to find bolts. Parked, turned off the car, went inside, picked up the stuff, back out to the car. Won't start :( turned the key all the way off, then tried again, and started right up after about a 2 second crank :yahoo:
Drive back home, backing into my parking spot slowly, felt the point it stalled at last time, and it didn't stall!! Backed in, put in park, key off. Wait 5 seconds, tried again, <1 second crank, all running engine!!
Now as for me: Putting on the sneaker on my right foot, the floor felt uneven, took a step and then I realized it was me (I thought the floor was fucked up)I was able to walk without crutches at all, just had to half step it. The foot started to hurt after about mile 5 but only when I hit the brakes. I probably won't be able to drive the Delta for a another week or so, but it's cool!
(BTW, before anybody starts crap about the "flooring it" part. I got the car upto 60 MPH in a 55, and 32 in a 25 before getting off of it)
