ok i thought i had read this on here somewhere before but now i can't find it and im really tired so im just going to ask. what does it mean when the service vehicle soon, anti-lock, and trac off lights all come on. tonight was the first time we have had snow here and when i got out of work and was driving home i was sliding a little on the roads and then all of a sudden those lights all came on. what could be the problem and how do i fix it?

It's the sensor for the abs, but the hub is a sealed unit. You have to replace the whole assembly. You can drive it but you have no abs. Pretty sure there is a how-to on replacing it. Not that hard. You might want to go over the electrical connections. You said it was the first snow. Maybe the connection got messed up.

Not that hard to swap, you should be able to run on it for a while, but not forever. If its only the sensor, well you are ok, but generally the hubs goes as well.

is there any way to tell which one is the bad one?
if you drive on it for too long and the bearing ceases up you could crash your car.
