i put an oil pressure gauge and volt meter in the cubby hole here is the pics :

i redid the location of the gauges and put them straight be cause the glass would have been to thin and not held. the first pic are how they were befor i changed them.

I'm going to cover them in dark blue vinyl tomarrow along with the shifter trim ( a limanating the PND231)

http://www.aleromod.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=3323&stc=1&d=1196548527 and the gauge trim.

i will post pics with them in the car and covered tomarrow

LOL ya me too, I got too much junk to give up ma kubbay. I did find some slick a-pillar pods on the net though, they look a lot nicer than the ones from pfyc IMO.

Looks good though, for sure need some finished pics when ya get done.

thanks i don't like to buy stuff i like to make it i saw this spot as a useless area anyway and i still have the cup/change holder. i don't like the look of piller gauges. the hole thing is covered in dark blue pleather/vinyl (looks like leather) i wll take more in the light this week. i might make another one and sell it it was fun making it here are the finished pics:

what should the oil pressure be?

Should have been at ASS. Cliff had a touch screen from a Buick Rendevous (sp) and it's awesome. NAvagtion, XM, total touch screen, and the Buick's interior lights match the Alero's, but try to find one under $700, and I'll have to re-pin my hardness, but it's worth it!!

Even says "Oldsmobile" when you start the car!!

Much like the factory radio, it has the VIN information sent to it when the key is turned on. It knows the make identifier "3" is oldsmobile and displays the oldsmobile logo. If you plug it into another GM make it will display it's respective logo.
