this is going to sound kinda redneck-ish, but are there such things as stock alero mudflaps? my grandma's malibu came with them and its an N-body car as well.
anyway, i'm asking because they would be nice in the winter for keeping the mud and salt from getting all over the side of my car. of course, i'd take them off for summer because i don't particulary like the way they look on cars.

my car came with mudflaps but theres 2 different kinds, theres the flexible almost rubber kind and the ones i had, hard plastic and molded to fit the edge of the skirt and rear bumper.....those were a pain to get off and they rubbed off a bit of paint on my skirt and rear bumper by the wheel

I've always wanted to get a set of mudflaps for the rear of my alero with the trucker girl in chrome on them. I've searched ebay and google and havent found exatly what I need. Sorry to hijack the thread but does anyone have any ideas?

I have a set of stock GM mudflaps that do not have the logo on them. Most people don't even realize they are on the car. Man do they save a lot of scrubbing to get the road tar and bugs off, not to mention preventing chips in the paint.

My Alero had mudflaps. I got them painted body-color before I installed them. They're the molded plastic, which I think actually looked good, and helped A LOT with the crap all over the side of the car. In fact, I'm picking up a set for the MINI tonight.

umm, i think its very mildly textured if i remember correctly. i will be going up to my parents in a few days, and i can get back to you for sure about that then. they are paintable if you would like to do that though...

I got those ones on my car. They work real good since I live on a gravel road.

They would probably work well on my Alero, keeping all the rubber off the body from the track. The good news is that I'm not loseing the rubber totally
I was changing the oil yesterday and got a good look and OMG
