they say micro led... i have no idea what size that is. cuz the 5mm are too big to fit under there.
message phil on oznium and see if he knows anything, or can get his hands on smaller then 5mm.

i took apart a gauge cluster and i think i can fit 3mm leds under there there is a void behind the needle between the "needle motor" and gauge face. i just have to get red leds the ones i have are not bright enuff

I put them in before...when they actually worked, they looked pretty cool...they had to be probably the biggest pain in the ass that i've ever had to deal with (install wise). Not too mention, I never really got my needles back to where they were supposed to be.

The kit I got was like a little doughnut that goes under the needle base at least that's what it looked like

Yeah, thats what mine looked like too....just that the donut didn't fit around the hole very well, so thats where I ran into my first problem.

Why don't you just save yourself the hassle and replace the stock light bulbs back there with blue LEDs?

Eh, I ordered them from somebody that used tobe on the site and have his own website...I forget his name though...I'm sure somebody will remember. They ended up coming from another company anyhow, he was just the middle man.

Did you take any "during" pics? This would be a good addition to the how-to section.
