Anybody ever had any luck with Yokohama? I'm heading out to buy some new tires after school today and I'm kinda up in the air about what to get. I don't need anything for performance, rather just good ride comfort and noise and also the longest warranty I can get. I looked at the Goodyear Assurance, rated number 4 overall by tirerack and have an 80K warranty, but of course...national backorder...ugh! So let me know what you've put on and had luck with.

If i get a different tire, My next one will probably be the Goodyear Eagle F1 All-Season. I do love the continentals though.

I had Yokohamas on my Festiva and they hooked up really nicely and it was just an over all good tire.

I had the Yokos Avids and they were an OK tire, but they wore out pretty fast.

Personally I like the Michellen or BFG

These are the ones I was looking at although with your rims, you'd need the bigger ones.

Well I called all around Charlotte yesterday and I ended up getting the Goodyear assurance. I found a place in North Charlotte that I had to go to in order to get them put on. THey were the ONLY place around that had 4 left. I talked to them about price matching what I had already been quoted...they ended up doing it, no questions asked. So I paid 104.96 a piece...no balancing fee, no disposal fee, free alignment...that was it 104.96 times 4 plus tax. I think I made out okay. The yokos were 95 a piece, but then it was plus disposal, balancing and so forth..so this route was the cheapest and I got an 80K tire instead of a 60K.
