I just installed this in my alero. Changed out my 4 ga wire to this new 1/0 gauge oval wire. Its so flat and flexible it blends in with the carpet. These pics here are just left over wire I had to compare the flexibility.

They also make the oval in the following sizes 3/0, 1/0, and 3 gauge.

Taken from darvex.com .. where i bought the wire:

Stinger unleashes the largest and most unique power wire Car Audio has ever seen! Offered in sizes up to 3/0 gauge! That's Triple Zero! A fact that is well worth repeating. In spite of its massive current capability, it remains easy to install due to its ingenious oval construction and Uber-Flex insulation.

Thanks to its low profile oval design, the overall height of the 3/0 cable is actually slightly less than the height of standard 1/0 wire. This trait carries through the 1/0 and 3 gauge sizes as well. As an XPRT we assumed you would expect nothing less than everything, maximum power capability, easy installation and space efficiency.

XPRT power wire Delivers!

If the question, "How do I connect this oval wire to my amplifier?" just popped into your head, we have the answer! Our cleverly designed oval wire adapters enable installation of all three sizes of XPRT power into any typical round 1/0, 4 or 8 gauge power input terminal block. Offset connection pins allow installation of larger than normal wire in most cases avoiding interference with the width of the oval wire and instead of capitalizing on the low-profile design!

I know this wire is little bit more expensive... but well worth it trying to hide wires in the car.

not this new wire.. it was easy! Only downside is a hurting on the wallet. Ordered 35ft Power/ground wires totaled to be 175 plus shipping for 1/0 gauge wiring. This wire is a little more expensive, but well worth it cuz easier to run.

You can order from darvex.com. I use them for anything car audio wiring. And i'm bias to using only stinger brand power wire. They got the best prices. he is also on ebay too if u don't buy from his site.

besides aftermath (cuz your nuts) who really uses enough power to need 1/0g wire? 90% of people who are buying this stuff really don't have a clue about how much freak'n power that really is...

but as for product, that looks much nicer then the standard. I ran 2g from my alt, and that was a pain to try to bend... i don't want to imagine 0.

well i recent down powered my car. I had 2 optima's (one in the engine, one in rear). now that i took the one in the engine out, Down to 1 battery. The 4ga wire was power everything from the back battery to the front. Plus i got 2 compressors for air ride and 2 amps for my stereo which draws alot of power. My voltage was acting funny off of 4ga only.

Plus most battery relocation kits you find on summit racing has 2ga wire with it.

but the new wire is way easier! .. best thick wire i ever ran w/out cursing. LOL

Running 1/0 is easy with the seats out and all the plastic off. Lift carpet, shove under.

Just have to drill a large hole :)

I had problems with water getting in when I hit puddles or heavy rain. Ended up caulking it shut.

This wire fits in factory grommet wire hole! No drilling anything. Left seats in and all!. hehehehe

Made it easier to do in my Buick.

The Alero has 4ga run right down the drivers side. RCAs down the middle and speakers wires on the passenger.
