Hi,

My name is Johnny I live in Belgium.
I own and ride a 1999 2.4 Chevy Alero. Converted to run on LPG.
Very happy with it. I have 160000 KMs on the clock. All still origional

Welcome from the United States. I have 285,000 km, all original.

LPG = liquified petroleum gas, by the way for all those like me who just found out.

Welcome. I'm sure that someone would tell you to clear your corners but GM already did that for you.

Post up some pics when you have a chance.

Welcome

Our Forklifts run on LPG. They are little Komastu (sp) lifts which is a Nissan company, they are all 4 cyl.

How does it run on propane? do you have to put a tank on and connect it?

I think they usually put the tank in the spare tire well. There's usually additional lines and a mixer that go up by the front. I saw it on a chevy pickup once before.

Its a mix of propane and butane. Very easy to do. They add injectors at the intake. Replace the spare tire with a tank and put in a new motor management system. The systems is actualy by-fuel as the old petrol system still works.

Regular petrol is 1.4 euros/a litre LPG is 0.54 Euros a litre.

1 gallon = 3.8 litres.

Fuel consumption on LPG is about 20% higher.
