what kind of switch did you get.
If its a dimmer run them in with your headlights and they will come on with them (at night when you need them)
If its an on off switch just run the power wire into your radio fuse (fuse panel drivers side)
Ground wire for both will go around the bolt behind the gauge cluster.

so why do you tell him if it has a dimmer to wire it up to a light that comes on with the headlights, but if not, to wire it up to something that has power whenever the car is on? :rolleyes2:
easy to install. i made a post to someone else's thread who asked the SAME question with the answer
wire it to the cubby hole light

Grims got an Idea, That will allow you to dim your gauges with your dash too.

Dimmer to headlights (yes you can dim with headlights to I know....ps cubby hole light is same as wiring to headlights)
ON/Off to constant power because you have to turn it off on anyways.
Either way works i guess lol.
I was just telling him ways he could

oh right
he could just cut off the switch if it had one and wire directly to the cubby hole light if it did come with an on/off switch
wiring it to the cubby hole light is more practical
